For 24 years, B.G. Smith documented violence in federal law enforcement. Now he writes 100-word stories to process what he saw and explore the moral complexities he couldn’t address on the job. His work has been shortlisted for the National Flash Fiction Day Competition (top 27/427) and published in Pocket Fiction, The Drabble, 101 Words, and over a dozen other journals.
